- My Dears,
Received your letter with great pleasure. I was getting very worried as I
hadn't heard for a long time. Your view, with respect to the children, isn't
right. Stop worrying. Your harvest is wonderful. I wish I could help you
with the preserves, and with the eating. I hope you soon get August's money.
If you have a lot of expense, tell me how much. I'll repay it, because I do
have custody and can contribute towards the children. Glad that you're
playing skat (card game), so thank God you're still the same. Your skat pal
could also send greetings. Please let me know in more detail what you have
done on my behalf. Why wait a few months? Hasn't Ingrid started school?
What's Reni doing? I'm glad you're all well, sisters too. Why doesn't Dr.
Gerson do something for me, just for the sake of the children ? Please send
a report on the children Mutti, but put it in extra so that I hear from you
both. Just send the note to the Gemeinde. That's what most of the girls do.
They'll send me it all right. I hope you've understood everything,
particularly if you need money do write and tell me. 1000 kisses from your
Irma.
